Assign Fields

Note: This information relates to the import of a geological model.

To access this screen:

The Assign Fields screen is presented as the first stage of field mapping during block model import or refreshing.

Describe what the fields of an imported geological block model's database represent. Depending on how fields are assigned to a type, they can be used in different ways throughout the optimization workflow.

For each field, either leave the field as not assigned (meaning it won't impact the generation of a schedule unless the assignment subsequently changes, or set it to a particular function.
